Golden Saffron & Smoked Paprika Roasted Chicken (or Cauliflower)

Spices used: Kashmiri chilli, Turmeric, Smoked Paprika, Saffron, Rainbow Peppercorns + Kapha blend (optional)

Ingredients highlight:

  • 1 whole chicken (or cauliflower head for vegan)
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
  • 2 tsp turmeric
  • 1.5 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp saffron threads soaked in 2 tbsp warm milk
  • 1 tsp freshly ground rainbow peppercorns
  • 1 tsp Kapha Igniting Blend (or extra black pepper + cumin)
  • Olive oil, garlic, lemon, salt

Method: Mix everything into a luxurious golden paste. Rub generously and let it marinate 2–12 hours. Roast at 400°F/200°C until gorgeously bronzed and fragrant. The saffron + turmeric gives insane colour, smoked paprika adds depth, Kashmiri brings gentle heat, and rainbow peppercorns finish it with sparkle.
